It is a fact that today, all things financial is just plain and simple difficult, in fact, it is admittedly despairing. The rich are no longer as rich, the very rich have lost, and the poor have lost more and are continuing to lose more. There does not seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel. Depression is a common occurrence. But it is also our attitudes that can make things go wrong and not just the economic crash.
There is a saying of not trying to blame something else for life’s miseries. Instead, look to ourselves and find the cause.
One of the major mistakes that we Americans committed was that we pretended to believe that everything was going our way and that we deserved it. However, when it came to handling our money, we did it the wrong way.
Investing in things that were shaky at best, spending over and above our capacities to pay. In short, we were spending like crazy and not producing enough. In fact, one of the main reasons why a lot of people got laid off was because of the demands that could no longer be satisfied. All of these resulted to one thing, instead of attracting money, we repelled it.
The Law of Attraction says that when we find joy in our wealth, we should be positive about the whole thing for this will only increase the wealth. What we did before the economic crash was to abuse the wealth that we had and eventually, we repelled the wealth.
We can attain financial freedom by making the Law of Attraction work for us. First, we can stop overspending against our capacity to pay. This means that we should limit our expenses on things that we need, rather than on what we think we need. For example, if the cell phone still works, do you really need to upgrade to a more expensive one simply because the neighbour has one?
In short, stop spending for things that you cannot afford! It will not be the end of the world if you don’t get to purchase a new iPod or a new pair of Nikes or Converse! If you can only afford something less costly, remember, it will still support and protect your feet.
Learn to spend on quality and not on the price tag that the others may see the brand. If you continue to spend over your income, eventually you will repel wealth instead of attracting it.
