			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Back in 1973 when I started looking for some products on sale, I began my remarks with a response to the number of ads that I saw in some newspaper kiosks magazines like Popular Mechanix, and others. I deleted a dollar here, $ 5. there .. An additional $ 15. there (that one was for &#8220;Mail Order Guide&#8221;).</p>
<p>I started to read all this &#8220;information&#8221; that I have received, and began learning the basic facts about how to advertise and sell products to others. &#8221; I was looking for something that I am interested in selling, that I would enjoy, then I could get myself! I thought if I do not personally LIKE the products I was selling, maybe I will not be sold to them, so I would not be good to sell them to others!</p>
<p>If you are looking for something to sell, I noticed that what I bought was &#8220;How-To, information reports, and books!&#8221; (I would rather have a bunch of 39 different books and reports that are received from all those ads that I responded to!) These were the books of the &#8220;sale of goods by post&#8221; .. and .. How to advertise and promote products for other &#8220;.. and many other names! They were all good resources, and I leared lot by reading them! Was it that the most popular? If I had been sent from the money that this information will not send the other money for some of these same kinds of &#8220;information&#8221; products?</p>
<p>About the same time, I began to consolidate the &#8220;List of Qualifiers&#8221;, to help me know when I find some good product. If the product is of interest to me, I would &#8220;check against the list of qualifiers.&#8221; In the list of qualifers (for an ideal product) are: (1) it must be the weight, to save on postage costs (2) It should be relatively small in size (not too big and bulky), (3) It is popular and Wanted item .. or I would not sell a lot! (4) It must be tough, and not an object, which is easy to spill, spoil, or pause (5) it must not be dated, and passion for the item, it should be a good seller and is now 10 years old! (6) it must be low cost for production and (7) it should allow you to gain pleasure from 2 to 10 times their cost!</p>
<p>I looked booklets that I have bought from several sources. They looked fairly easy to put together. I thought I could do the same. I could write my thoughts, my ideas, my knowledge, to get them printed and sell them to others! I realized that the reports and brochures MET all the requirements: They have weight, small size, they were popular, they can not spill, and Pamper Break! The information is not from lower production costs and they give a very good margin of profit! Since 1973, I did just that very thing; Writing my thoughts down, you enter them, getting them to print their advertising and selling them to others! I have now written 8 books and 90 reports. Some of my records are part of my 8 books! Several of my books sell for $ 24. or $ 29. &#8211; They only cost me $ 8. or $ 9. to fill each of them .. On the other $ 15. or $ 20. is profit!</p>
<p>Information is the ideal product mailorder! And also, since 1991, when I got my computer and modem, I am marketing these products through the Internet. In the end, the information product is the best market information super highway! I asked this question several times: &#8220;Harry, why did you sell booklets and other reports by e-mail? It may be that they are asked to: &#8220;How do you possibly make any money selling small $ 1.00 and $ 2.00 Reports to the other?&#8221; I sell them, mainly because:</p>
<p>(1) I like the sale of &#8220;How to&#8221; information with third parties;<br />
(2) information booklets and reports easy to write and produce;<br />
(3) it takes very little money to prepare some good leaflets or reports;<br />
(4) This item is easy for someone to start selling by mail;<br />
(5) people want and buy them;<br />
(6) They are quick money of individuals who receive their orders coming in fast!<br />
(7) They are small, lightweight and easily installed in a # 10 envelope! And,<br />
(8) There are many issues and topics on which you can write.</p>
<p>I found that most people will quickly send you $ 1. or $ 2. but procrastinate when they should send you $ 20. or $ 30.! This may not seem like it, but I&#8217;m probably more sales, and deals with more buyers, but I make my million, the one who sells only $ 20. and $ 30. points! And I think that I would be much more interesting to do it, too!</p>

<p>Increase productivity by investing a small amount of time in the effective management of these advances is more than worth the result.</p>
<p>Email Management</p>
<p>Keeping up with the daily onslaught of messages is one of the major problems for most of us, as personally and professionally. The following tips can help you manage the daily flow of letters:</p>
<p>Establishment of electronic filing of the Cabinet, as well as physical classroom you with electronic folders for category names</p>
<p>After the letters were read and responded to (if action is not required), move a letter from the mailbox storage folders. This allows you to easily keep track of messages that still require action. Many companies impose limits on inbox size. By moving your mail from the inbox to personal folders, an additional advantage is that the restriction in size will not be interrupted their day at a time, you need to send a letter.</p>

<p>If the document is available in electronic form, but refer to it often, print it and store it in the hanging file or on your desktop.</p>
<p>Every 6 months or so, through your folders and delete the message is no longer required. This saves disk space and make your search more rational.</p>
<p>Phone Management</p>
<p>When you leave a voice mail for someone, if the issue you are calling about is just a question, ask it on voice mail to avoid playing phone tag. In addition, the defendant should be encouraged to leave the answer to voice mail if they miss you. However, if the issue is complex and does not make any long voice mail clarifying the issue (of the consideration for the recipient).</p>
<p>If you know you&#8217;re in meetings and unavailable for some time, let the person know to avoid voice mail phone tag.</p>
<p>If you are in the center of a complex task that requires a continuous process of thought, let me respond to the voice mail phone. Otherwise, take the floor to avoid the accumulation of messages to return later.</p>
<p>Telephone messages should be responded to within 24 hours. If you were too tied up to answer a question or request, at least, to respond to a man who called to tell them that, and then they expect a date by which you will be responsible for them. Thus, you still seem to respond, even if you can not deal with their request immediately.</p>
<p>Meeting Management</p>
<p>When calling the meeting, always draft agenda, and attach it to a meeting invitation. The agenda will serve several purposes:</p>

They are useful for the team participants, as well as those who can not attend but who have an interest in this matter. Reputation accurate meeting minutes also helps keep the meeting size to an acceptable level of, as well as all affected parties will feel less need to participate in the meeting in order to understand its&#8217; orientation results.</p>
<p>The day before the meeting, make sure to copy all the necessary materials.</p>
<p>If the employees are always reduced by for impromptu meetings, do not hesitate to create a &#8220;Do not disturb&#8221; time, which will be used for these complex projects of thinking, where has the time, broke a large influence on the course of thought.</p>

<p>Bad press and lawsuits are things that every business owner fears. Bad press can ruin your reputation, as well as your business, and lawsuits can bankrupt you. The easiest way to avoid both of these situations is to avoid unethical business practices. There are very easy ways to avoid unethical business practices.</p>
<p>First, adhere to the old standby that honesty is the best policy. Be honest in all of your business dealings, whether it concerns vendors, customers, or employees. This also means that you need to use honesty when reporting earnings and expenses, when paying employees and vendors, and when disclosing information to customers.</p>
<p>When you are faced with a complaint, whether that complaint comes from a customer, a vendor, an employee, or the community, the complaint needs to be dealt with head on. Burying your head in the sand, and hoping that the problem will go away will only serve to make the situation worse, and because you are responsible, this isn&#8217;t the ethical way to handle problems. Never try to spin your own version of the truth to make the problem not look as bad as it really is. This will only damage your reputation in the long run.</p>
<p>When many companies are using <a id="link_56" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.squidoo.com/mentoringyoutosuccess" target="_new">unethical business practices</a>, instead of trying to correct the problem, they try to cover it up. They will even go as far as paying loads of money on advertising and public relations to try to hide the problems at hand. Again, this is an unethical business practice, and it should be avoided. When mistakes are made, address them clearly, apologize, do better, and move on. The community as a whole will respect you a great deal more for this than they will if you do nothing, or try to hide a problem, only to be found out later.</p>
<p>Ethical business issues often arise that have little to do with the workplace, but a great deal to do with the product that is being sold. It could be that there are dangers with the product that were only recently discovered. If you are practicing ethical business, you will notify the public about these dangers, and depending on the extent of the danger, you may need to recall the product &#8211; even if it means losing some money, and losing some business in the future. Recall the product and fix the problem, and you will avoid a loss of your reputation, as well as lawsuits. When you recall a product, you get press, but because you took the appropriate ethical action, it isn&#8217;t considered to be bad press.</p>
<p>Placing blame is another issue. When problems occur, it seems that a businesses first instinct is to look for someone to blame, instead of taking responsibility for the problem themselves. Not only is this unethical, it is almost childish in nature, and it does little to instill trust in the public, in employees, or in vendors. If the issue arose because of a mistake that an employee made, depending on the seriousness of the problem, the employee may be fired, but it is <a id="link_57" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.zimbio.com/Ethical+Business+Practices/articles/2/Ethical+Behavior" target="_new">unethical</a> for the business to name that employee. In the publics&#8217; eyes, it is the company that made a mistake, and not an employee.</p>
<p>Again, there are many unethical business practices that crop up in the business world on a day-to-day basis. For your particular business, it is important to constantly monitor yourself and your employees to ensure that you are operating above board, and that unethical business practices are dealt with immediately, in the best possible way.</p></div>

<p>You probably started your business to have freedom of choice, freedom to create and have the freedom to have unlimited income without limitation wages.</p>
<p>You may leave J.O.B. and now you feel like you&#8217;re back in the worst boss ever &#8230; YOU!</p>
<p>Typically, companies have started by someone who has a special skill. Perhaps you&#8217;ve done a great job with the financial corporations is what you want your own financial services company.</p>
<p>Just because you have the skills to do the technical work that does not mean that one can be a successful entrepreneur. Anyone who has gone through this transition will agree. There are so many different skills needed for business!</p>
<p>Until you are willing to delegate tasks that are not your specialty, you will not be able to fully utilize your best talents.</p>
<p>Creating a system that others can work with you can give you that freedom, which was your goal with your own business. This requires discipline and attention to all details that you are currently handling.</p>
<p>Oh, how tempting it is to think you can handle all this! Maybe you feel that you need to get more and more profits before you deserve to have the support you need?</p>
<p>This may seem risky to pay for support when your money and stiff, but without support in place, you tend to stay stuck where you are.</p>
<p>You are also an ideal candidate to overwork and destroy. If you are overloaded and overworked, the passion that you have to start a business shrivel and die.</p>
<p>Ask yourself the question: &#8220;How many hours I actually worked in my company every week?&#8221;.</p>
<p>If you ever worked for, that many hours in any job you ever?</p>
<p>I do not think so.</p>
<p>The challenge for most business owners is to develop a time to work on the business so they can improve their company&#8217;s functions.</p>
<p>Now it&#8217;s time to look at this time wasters that steal away some of your valuable time. Is this a message? This is a problem for many of us.</p>
<p>It is easy to get caught checking e-mail, and then get distracted by any number of interesting topics.</p>
<p>Disciplinary yourself to check email only at certain times of day can free up some precious time for your business planning.</p>
<p>Another road to our performance, you can avoid something (eg, business planning), because it is too major of a project. If you can get out of the project down into smaller segments, it will be easier in view of the work in one of the segments in any spare time that you have.</p>
<p>In fact, the creation of appointments in a change would be a way to create this business plan.</p>
<p>And to maintain this designation!</p>
<p>Show yourself and your business as much respect as you show the rest of the world.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all negotiate in our personal and professional lives.  We negotiate 			   when we go to a garage sale, or when we want to do something 			   different at work, or when we are dealing with members of the public.</p>
<p>Sometimes its easy to negotiate, but other times, when we have a great 			   deal at stake or we are upset, the task can be intimidating or difficult.</p>
<p>We are going to talk about some tips to effective negotiating that can 			   help you work more effectively with your customers, co-workers, and 			   boss.  They are also applicable to other interpersonal situations.</p>
<h2>Overview 			   of The Negotiation Process</h2>
<p>Negotiating is the process by which two or more parties with different 			   needs and goals work to find a mutually acceptable solution to an issue.  			   Because negotiating is an inter-personal process, each negotiating 			   situation is different, and influenced by each party&#8217;s skills, attitudes 			   and 			   style.  We often look at negotiating as unpleasant, because it 			   implies 			   conflict, but negotiating need not be characterized by bad feelings, 			   or 			   angry behaviour.  Understanding more about the negotiation process 			   allows us to manage our negotiations with confidence increases the 			   chance that the outcomes will be positive for both parties.</p>
<h2>Barriers To Successful Negotiation</h2>
<h2>Viewing Negotiation As Confrontational</h2>

<h2>Trying To Win At All Costs</h2>
<p>If you &#8220;win&#8221; there must be a loser, and that can create more difficulty   down the road.  The best perspective in negotiation is to try to   find a   solution where both parties &#8220;win&#8221;.  Try not to view negotiation   as a   contest that must be won.</p>
<h2>Becoming Emotional</h2>
<p>It&#8217;s normal to become emotional during negotiation that is important.  However, as we get more emotional, we are less able to channel our negotiating behaviour in constructive ways.  It is important to maintain control.</p>
<h2>Not Trying To Understand The Other Person</h2>
<p>Since we are trying to find a solution acceptable to both parties, we   need to understand the other person&#8217;s needs, and wants with respect   to   the issue.  If we don&#8217;t know what the person needs or wants, we   will be   unable to negotiate properly.  Often, when we take the time to   find out   about the other person, we discover that there is no significant   disagreement.</p>
<h2>Focusing On Personalities, Not Issues</h2>
<p>Particularly with people we don&#8217;t like much, we have a tendency to get   off track by focusing on how difficult or obnoxious the person seems.    Once this happens, effective negotiation is impossible.  It is   important   to stick to the issues, and put aside our degree of like or dislike   for the   individual.</p>
<h2>Blaming The Other Person</h2>
<p>In any conflict or negotiation, each party contributes, for better or   worse.  If you blame the other person for the difficulty you will   create   an angry situation.  If you take responsibility for the problem,   you will   create a spirit of cooperation.</p>
<h2>Some Negotiation Tips</h2>
<h2>Solicit The Other&#8217;s Perspective</h2>
<p>In a negotiating situation use questions to find out what the other   person&#8217;s concerns and needs might be.  You might try:  <strong><em>What do you need from me on this? </em></strong> <em><strong>What are your concerns about what I am suggesting / asking? </strong></em> When you hear the other person express their needs or concerns, use   listening responses to make sure you heard correctly.  For example:     <strong><em>So, you are saying that you are worried that you will get lost in the </em></strong><em><strong>shuffle and we will forget about you&#8230;Is that right? </strong></em> <em><strong>If I have this right, you want to make sure that the phones are covered   over lunch? </strong></em></p>
<h2>State Your Needs</h2>
<p>The other person needs to know what you need.  It is important   to state   not only what you need but why you need it.  Often disagreement   may   exist regarding the method for solving an issue, but not about the   overall goal.  For example:  <strong><em>I would like an hour on Tuesday to go to the doctor.  I want to   make</em></strong> <em><strong>sure I am healthy so I can contribute better to the organization.</strong></em></p>
<h2>Prepare Options Beforehand</h2>
<p>Before entering into a negotiating session, prepare some options that you can suggest if your preferred solution is not acceptable.  Anticipate why the other person may resist your suggestion, and be prepared to counter with an alternative.</p>

<h2>Consider Timing</h2>
<p>There are good times to negotiate and bad times.  Bad times include   those situations where there is:</p>
<ul>
<li>.    a high degree of anger on either side</li>
<li>.    preoccupation with something else</li>
<li>.    a high level of stress</li>
<li>.    tiredness on one side or the other</li>
</ul>
<p>Time negotiations to avoid these times.  If they arise during negotiations   a time-out/rest period is in order, or perhaps rescheduling to a better   time.</p>
<p><strong>Conclusion</strong></p>
<p>Negotiating is a complex process but one worth mastering.  If you   keep   in mind that you are responsible for the success or failure of   negotiation, and if you follow the tips above, you will find the process   easier.</p>
